Lorrie Walker Public Relations - Photoshop / Illustrator Experience
As an intern for Lorrie Walker Public Relations I worked very closely with her Downtown Lakeland Partnership client. With this client, I was responsible for monitoring and updating their social media sites. Each month the DLP hosts a First Friday and Thursday Squared event with different sponsors and themes. I created different cover photos to coordinate with each event. Below are a few examples, please note that these photos were created to the image size specification of Facebook's cover photo's and bearing in mind that the bottom portion has a profile picture and page information overlapping on the actual site.
Klüber Lubrication - InDesign Experience
As the marketing intern for Klüber Lubrication I was in charge of converting old product fliers into a newer, more visually pleasing layout. In addition to creating product fliers, I was in charge of setting up the quarterly newsletter.
Klüber Lubrication - Photoshop Experience
As part of my duties in planning Klüber's annual summer outing, it was my responsibility to create a flier to distribute to employees revealing what that year's theme was. One of the goals of this outing was to get different aspects of the company to work together. With that in mind, I was able to photoshop our CEO & CFO's face onto the bodies of soccer players to announce the "world cup" theme as well as make our company leaders appear open, friendly, and relatable.
Classroom - InDesign Experience
As part of a desktop publishing course, I designed a template for business cards, a fax sheet, and a company stationary that worked within the parameters of the assignment.
Another assignment for the course was to set up a newsletter layout. Here I have designed a layout that allows the text to flow through from page to page easily. With this assignment I had to demonstrate my knowledge of text wrapping, adding photos into the middle of pages, jumping stories from one page to another, and much more.
